Privacy Policy

It's Lit Bonfires LLC does not share mobile numbers, text messaging originator opt-in data, or consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile information may be disclosed exclusively to supporting contractors and service vendors needed for SMS delivery operations. These include messaging platforms, telecom providers, and customer support vendors. The data serves only to maintain and operate the messaging service itself.

All other use categories explicitly exclude text messaging opt-in data and consent information. This information remains protected from third-party disclosure under all other circumstances.

Cancellation Policy

Chair Rentals

We service rain or shine — no refunds after payment has been made.

If doing drop off and the chairs are left on the beach and thrown away or lost in any form, we will charge current retail price of a new one to your card for the amount totaling the lost equipment.

Photography

A deposit of $150 is required to secure your date and time slot. This deposit is non-refundable. If rained out, we will move it to another date or have a night shoot. If less than two weeks out, we ask for payment in full.

Minimum photo amount is based on package, but options for photos to be framed and delivered are available once edits are complete for additional costs.

Beach Bonfire Terms

1. Booking & Payment

Booking More Than 2 Weeks Before Event:

  • $175 deposit is required to secure your reservation
  • Deposit is non-refundable and includes the County fire permit fee
  • Remaining 50% balance is paid 2 weeks before your event date

Booking Within 2 Weeks of Event:

  • 100% payment required to secure your reservation

2. Cancellations, Weather & Refunds

The short version: we watch the weather like hawks, we'll always try to reschedule before anyone cancels, and if a fire truly can't happen, we handle it fairly.

Your deposit

Your deposit locks in your date and covers your county fire permit, which we purchase the moment you book. The county makes these permits non-refundable to us — once it's bought, that money is spent whether the fire happens or not. That's why deposits are non-refundable.

Canceling more than 24 hours out

Life happens! Cancel anytime up to 24 hours before your bonfire and we'll refund everything except the deposit.

Weather on the day of your event

Sometimes lightning, a burn ban, or high tides make a fire unsafe. If that happens before our crew has set up, you pick what works best for you:

  • Rebook (most popular) — Move your bonfire to another night. Everything transfers — you only cover a new permit fee.
  • 50% refund — Heading home and can't rebook? We'll refund half. The permit and prep are already paid for, so we split the loss with you.
  • Credit — Local or visit often? Take a credit toward a future bonfire instead (a new permit fee applies when you rebook).

Once we've set up

When the chairs are out and the fire is built, the permit, materials, and your attendant's night are already spent — so refunds aren't available after setup, even for weather. Want to try again another night? We'd love to make it happen — rebooking after setup just requires covering a new county fire permit fee plus attendant pay for the new night, since both were used on the original date.

Our promise

We monitor the forecast all day and reach out early if anything looks iffy. Nine times out of ten there's a way to make the fire happen — and we'll find it.

3. Event Location & Relocation

Beach Access & Permits:

  • We secure beach bonfire permits at specific county-approved access points
  • If your originally planned location sells out before we can secure the permit, we will relocate to the next available permitted location
  • If rain is forecast on the day of your event, we reserve the right to push back the start time to avoid rain

Relocation Notice:

  • You will receive a text message or email if we have to relocate your event with the exact beach access address
  • We will provide relocation details as soon as they are confirmed

4. Glass Prohibition & Equipment

Glass on Beach:

  • NO GLASS is allowed on the beach per county regulations
  • This includes glass bottles, jars, containers, or any glass items
  • If you or your guests receive any citations or fines related to glass or other violations, you are solely responsible for payment
  • It's Lit PCB is not responsible for any fines or citations incurred by you or your guests

Equipment Responsibility:

  • You are responsible for the care of all equipment provided during your event (chairs, tables, speakers, fire pit, etc.)
  • Customer is responsible for replacement cost of any damaged, lost, or stolen equipment
  • Equipment must be left at the setup location — do not remove or relocate items

Early Departure:

  • No refunds for early departure or unused time — if you book a 3-hour event and leave after 1 hour, no refund will be issued

5. Day-of-Event Details

You will receive a reminder text on the day of your event including:

  • Your attendant's name and phone number
  • Exact beach access location address
  • Estimated arrival time
  • Any special instructions

6. Liability Waiver

Assumption of Risk:

By booking this service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Beach activities involving fire, ocean proximity, and outdoor elements carry inherent risks
  • It's Lit PCB is not liable for any injuries, accidents, damages, or losses that occur during your event, including but not limited to:
    • Burns or injuries from fire
    • Injuries from beach conditions (sand, water, wildlife)
    • Damage to personal property
    • Medical emergencies
    • Acts of nature (weather, tides, wildlife)
  • You and your guests participate at your own risk
  • You are responsible for ensuring all guests behave safely and follow any instructions provided by It's Lit PCB staff
  • You agree to supervise children at all times during the event
