Beach Access Guide
Grayton Beach Regional Access
Grayton Beach Regional Access provides entry to what Dr. Beach has repeatedly named one of the top beaches in America. Located in the heart of the historic Grayton Beach community, this access point leads to some of the most pristine, untouched shoreline on the entire Emerald Coast.
The beach at Grayton is special — the sand here has a slightly different texture, almost like powdered sugar, and the water is consistently some of the clearest along 30A. The lack of high-rise development and the adjacent Grayton Beach State Park give this stretch of coastline a wild, unspoiled character that you won't find at more developed beaches.
Grayton Beach village itself is one of the oldest communities on 30A, with a funky, artistic personality. The Red Bar (currently being rebuilt) has been a legendary gathering spot for decades, and the AJ's Grayton Beach offers excellent waterfront dining. The community has a laid-back, authentic Florida beach-town vibe that's increasingly rare.
Bonfires at Grayton Beach feel different from anywhere else on 30A. The natural setting, the sound of Western Lake's coastal dune lake nearby, and the expansive starlit sky create an atmosphere that's truly unique. This is where you come when you want a bonfire that feels like a real adventure rather than a resort experience.

Local Tips
Tips for Visiting Grayton Beach Regional Access
The beach at Grayton runs east-west, giving you a direct sunset view over the water — one of the only spots on 30A where the sun sets directly into the Gulf. This makes Grayton Beach bonfires especially photogenic. For the best experience, book your bonfire for the west end of the beach where the sunset views are unobstructed.
