About Seagrove Beach

Authentic Old 30A

Seagrove Beach is the 30A that existed before “30A” was a brand. Founded in 1949, it predates nearly every planned community along Scenic Highway 30A. While neighbors like Seaside and WaterSound were carefully designed, Seagrove evolved organically — with original beach cottages, towering coastal dunes, and a quiet, unpretentious vibe.

The landscape here is special. Eastern Lake — a coastal dune lake that flows into the Gulf — creates a unique ecosystem of dunes, wetlands, and pine forests. The beach itself is less crowded than neighboring communities, with natural dune paths and a sense of seclusion that's hard to find elsewhere on 30A.

Seagrove is also home to some of 30A's best dining — Cafe Thirty-A has been an institution since the 1990s. And a beach bonfire at Seagrove in the quiet, natural setting is 30A at its most peaceful.
